About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cutting-edge technology and is looking to thrive in a collaborative environment.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of integrated circuit (IC) design within a project.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to proactively assist colleagues and spot areas for improvement.

Project Management & Team Leadership

• Oversee the entire IC design process, from concept to completion
• Monitor project timelines, ensuring designs are produced on schedule
• Address any design-related challenges or issues promptly
• Manage and lead a team of designers, ensuring they work collaboratively and efficiently
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation

Design Coordination

• Coordinate the creation of new IC designs, digital IP and manage the chip verification and sign off activities needed for tapeout
• Collaborate with IC designers, verification engineers, physical design engineers, and suppliers to create cohesive and well-coordinated designs
• Ensure that designs meet project specifications and quality standards

Documentation and Communication

• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, requirements specifications, and test plans
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management

Technical Expertise

• Possess in-depth knowledge of analog and digital IC design principles
• Understand all aspects of digital IC design and verification, and be familiar with development flows, processes, tools and equipment required for pre and post-tapeout verification.
• Simulation and verification of IC designs for functionality, performance, and compliance

Essential Skills

• Strong IC design and verification skills and relevant knowledge
• Familiarity with embedded engineering, firmware, software and technology
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Leadership and motivational abilities
• Proficiency in using computer software and relevant tools

Qualifications 

• An undergraduate degree or higher in engineering, physics or a similar subject
