About the Role

We are seeking a North China Sales Manager to drive customer engagement, business development, and technical sales support across key accounts in the North China region, with a particular focus on smartphone OEMs, module makers, and ecosystem partners located in Beijing, Shanghai, and surrounding technology hubs.

This role reports into the Sales Director, Greater China, and will play a crucial part in strengthening our commercial presence and growing revenue in North China. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of semiconductor sales, electromechanical component integration, and experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across North China, particularly with smartphone OEMs, module vendors, and integration partners.

· Promote and position CML’s SMA actuator and control IC solutions for new and existing product programs.

· Act as the primary commercial contact for customer project discussions, contract negotiations, and technical deep dives (in collaboration with FAEs and PMs).

· Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align on customer deliverables and priorities.

· Track regional market trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive activity to inform CML’s commercial and product strategies.

· Support product launches, technology demonstrations, and trade events as required.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Business, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in semiconductor, camera module, mobile components, or consumer electronics sales.

· Strong understanding of the smartphone supply chain and design-in process.

· Proven track record of customer management, technical sales, and delivering business growth in the region.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills in Mandarin and English.

· Self-starter, able to operate independently and collaboratively within a global team structure.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with actuation, sensing, or motion control systems.

· Familiarity with fabless semiconductor models, IC integration, or system-level hardware development.

· Background working with UK-headquartered or international companies.
